I have watched this movie twice. But both times I haven't watched it completely. From somewhere in he middle only I have watched. I caught up with this movie just by seeing that two-line story of the movie in Airtel digital. But it was worth watching it. The movie has different characters which portrays realistic personalities. It may be controversial to my country, but the way it exhibits each and every personality and their interests and insecurities is what actually adds beauty to the movie. One man and three women. A wife and two girlfriends. Out of the two, the guy really falls in love with Cristina (hope at least he loves her from his heart) and keeps the other one, Vicky, as spare. Vicky is normally a quiet, self-sufficed girl satisfied with what she got in her life and a girl with good manners, at least in the beginning. Juan Antonio, the hero gets first introduced to her as a tour guide and becomes a friend later he earned himself a decent enough place in Vicky's heart. A candle light dinner and lots of talking between the two in a single night was enough to achieve it for him. While she falls for him in that brief moment, he is not so much interested in her except that she is a woman. And he requires a woman as his bed was empty that particular night. These aspects of the story shows how a man always keep in search of a woman just to satisfy his night's needs. And most men from the west are so in my opinion. And they are experts in getting woman convinced so easily in that case.

While Cristina knows nothing about their relationship, she is so interested in him and their relationship grows into leaps and bounds. Suddenly wen his wife enters into their life, Cristina is put into a confused situation, a mixed feeling of possessiveness and jealousy arouses in her while she can't oppose the things happening between 'once' husband and wife. After being with them together, Cristina gets to fit firmly between the two and adds harmony with all of them.

It just tells how a life in the West would be. How a common man would be, sometimes in search of making love, companionship or just a lover around him all the time. Vicky tells about how entering into a boring marriage life with her loved one which she once thought will be exciting. Cristina always keeps searching for something new and just keeps enjoying her life what ever comes. All the while through this movie, especially while explaining about Cristina, they portray that she wants to be free in her life and that freedom she got. Freedom to think. The freedom to live freely as she thought her life should be. While actually, at the end she doesn't achieve anything. At the end I was hoping that Juan will settle with at least one of the three women but sadly, he stays single. Vicky moves on with her life she finds boring with her loving husband and Cristina goes on in search of another passion or whatever she finds interesting or whatever that will satisfy her then. His wife, Maria again clashes with him and leaves him and he stays single. None of them here actually wants to settle down with a long-term partner and they just live that moment. They just want to enjoy everyday giving way to sudden ups and downs of hormones. At the end they would have just enjoyed one particular day or days and then worry that nothing goes well in their lives. They just give way to sudden rush of feelings but fail to think it's long-term consequence whether its good or bad leading to brittle relationships that break one fine day and put them in trouble. This movie is a nice piece of western life at the same time a frank confession of the inner feelings of both man and women. I like this movie for the way it showed the real personalities and their minds that felt just a piece of real life situation happening in a corner of the world and not just a fictional movie. Narrating the minds of characters out loud in the background actually helps us understand what they are upto and adds colour to the movie. It helps us understand the character better like the way the director wants us to which in turn connects us better to the movie making ourselves come closer with them.

The artists chosen and the calm sandy-coloured background of Barcelona, took my breath away and the relaxed nature of the film forces me to watch it again and again. I liked the costumes of Cristina and she looks amazing.
